Srushti Deshmukh began working on her UPSC exam in her third year in engineering. She wondered if engineering was the right career for her. Then she realized the dream job she wanted was working in the civil service. She decided to pursue this. The parents of her encouraged her to pursue civil service, and to pursue an opportunity to work in public service. She aimed her efforts at being an IAS officer. In order for UPSC to be a reality it is more work required. While she was studying for her engineering classes and other classes, she also used to study for different subjects of UPSC. She set aside time for test preparation daily. She prepared for the engineering exams in just 1 1/2 months, and stayed away from social media and all social media sites. She believes that focusing solely on what needs to be done is key to passing the exam. She wanted to pass through the test in one go, and she did a lot of effort. In order to stay up-to-date on recent events her routine was to browse through the news papers. In the online world, she found numerous study resources as well as watched Rajya Sabha TV. IAS Srushti Deskmukh book IAS Srushti Deskmukh has also written a book and published this under the title, The Answer Writing Manual. This book can be found in any library of the country.
