Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada for her role as Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both scholars. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She's the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move to Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles within the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. In Fredericton on April 10, the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's change of religion to Judaism. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk is a variety of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for her performance. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the third season finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans in an episode of the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on the 20th of June, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network as well as E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren the actress (Zoie) as one of their favorite television couple. Entertainment Television.
